Bookend Book Review for The Magician’s Doll

These days it is a challenge to get reviews on a blog, so I’m very excited to present my very first one from Bookend Book Review! It’s important to honor these “firsts”, don’t you think? The author of the blog, who goes by the screen name Dani, is a terrific writer in her own right, and she gave The Magician’s Doll what I felt was an honest review. As I’m sure most writers will agree, an honest review is worth its weight in gold, and I really appreciate Dani taking the time to read The Magician’s Doll and write about her impressions. You can read the review here (just a head’s up, there is a spoiler – you have been warned!), and if you have a chance, check out Dani’s work on her other blog What’s Write for Me. A big thank you to Bookend Book Review!

  1. I just read that there will be a sequel to The Magician’s Doll! Great news 🙂 The Magician’s Doll was a very entertaining, intriguing book. It was full of surprises and twists and turns. I was really able to feel a sense of knowing the characters, especially Natalie. All the characters had their own little quirks and loveable characteristics…all to their own. I’m really anxious to see how Phillip and Natalie develop in the sequel…together, apart, fighting evil together, or fighting each other. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see 🙂

  2. Arlene, thank you for reading and for your comment. Yes, there is more to come 🙂 And Phillip is STILL getting Natalie into trouble!
